  • How do I set up the email address where I want my contact form messages to go on your Website Builder?

    Our Website Builder offers an easy to way to add a contact form to your website no matter what plan you're using. The default email address to receive your contact form messages will be the same as your Dynadot account email. If you want to change the email address, follow these instructions: Log into your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Settings" option on the left-hand tool bar. Go to the "General" tab at the top. Add in the email address you want to the "Contact Form Email" section and click on the "Save" button at the top of the page.

  • How do I remove or customize the footer message "Powered by Dynadot" from my website on your website builder?

    The footer message "Powered by Dynadot" cannot be removed if you are using the free version of our Website Builder. If you want to remove it or create a custom footer, you can upgrade to our Pro plan ($20/year) .Once you have upgraded your plan, please follow these steps to customize or remove your footer: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to edit. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Settings" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on the "General" tab. You can choose to hide the footer altogether by using the toggle button next to the "Footer Message" option. If you would like to show and edit the footer message, the option should first be toggled on. You can then click the footer's text box on any of your website builder's pages to update the message. The changes will apply to all of your website's pages. Click on the "SAVE" button to save your changes.   • How do I change the template in my Website Builder?

    To change the template for your Website Builder, please follow these steps: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on the "Edit Site" button next to the website builder you want to use. Click on the "Website Builder" option, followed by the "Settings" option on the left-hand tool bar. Click on the "Choose Template" option. Choose your template by clicking "CHANGE" on the one you want. The template you are currently using will be grayed out and you will not be able to select it. There are two options, "MIGRATE" and "START NEW", to change your template. If you choose "MIGRATE", it will not delete the content you have created on your website builder and will simply move the content around to fit the new template you have selected. If you choose "START NEW", all changes and added content will be discarded and cannot be restored after. NOTE: There is another option "RESET TEMPLATE" at the top right corner. This button will delete the changes and content in the current template and restored it back to the default style of this template only.

  • How do I set up Google Analytics with my Website Builder?

    Google Analytics is a free service offered by Google that allows you to track your website's traffic, data, e-commerce, and more. Google Analytics is a great resource for any website and, through our Website Builder, we offer an easy to way to set it up! Just a heads-up: you'll need to upgrade your Website Builder to a Pro plan to use it.Before you start: Create an Analytics account, set up a new Google Analytics 4 property, and added a data stream. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up here or learn more here. Find your Google tag, which is a code snippet that starts with <script . To add your Google tag: Sign in to your Dynadot account. Select "My Websites" from the left-side menu bar. Click on "Edit Site" next to the Website Builder you are adding the analytics code to. On the left-hand tool bar, click "Website Builder", then "Settings", and select "SEO". Paste your Google tag in the "Footer Script" box. Make sure to copy everything from <script to </script>. Click on the "Save" button at the top of the page. Here is an example of what it looks like: NOTE: It can take a few days for Google to show you any information.
