Remote Connection to my SQL DB?

Hi All,

I'm coding up a site in PHP/SQL and wanted to know how to connect to my SQL database. I'm trying to point my SQL viewers (Coda for Mac and SequelPro for Mac) to the socket /tmp/mysql.sock but no luck. I have also tried to connect via SSH and no luck there either. I'd like to use these apps to manipulate the database since they are easier to use than PHPMyAdmin.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Are you trying to connect to your database from outside the server? We don't allow that, for security.
