I keep getting ip blocked from my website
10/25/2012 22:36
I have had to speak with support each time at least once a week for the past three or four weeks.

They mentioned turning off a frequent signal that is coming from my ftp client...??? I am using coda, and they said it may be in my prefrences.

If you know what they are talking about, please assist.

Enjoy!

If the cPanel is blocking you for too many concurrent connections, you'll need to adjust the settings in your FTP client so that it opens fewer connections at once.

You'll likely find the setting under advanced options.

I don't know what they're talking about either.

The blocking just starting happening lately. I have to close browser and reload site.

If your IP is being blocked by the cPanel firewall, it may be for other reasons entirely.  Please contact customer support while the block is in place to find out the exact reason.
