FTP ~time out~ when trying to log in, and upload.

I am using InternetExplorer linked FTP feature, and am having endless problems with access to the service.

I keep on getting 'The operation timed out', and my access is then blocked.

What am I doing wrong?

I have had access, therefore my log in details can not be wrong. I have been in the middle of uploading a list of files, and I would get a block error half way through.

It may be that your FTP client is opening up too many connections to the server at once. This is something you should be able to adjust in your FTP client settings.
