Setting up my Dynadot domain on Google hosted blog

Hi! I have been using google blogger as host to my domain name www.happinay.com for some time now. I encountered problems with my blogger template and decided to create a new blog but using the same domain name. So what I did was deactivated the custom domain setting of the old blog and then attempted to set up the custom domain on the new blog. I followed the google instructions below:

Find the control panel on your domain registrar’s website, and locate your DNS (Domain Name System) settings. In order to link your blog to your custom domain, follow the instructions below to enter your "CNAME" and "A-records."

CNAME
Add two CNAME records. For the first CNAME, where it says Name, Label or Host enter "www" and where it says Destination, Target or Points To enter "ghs.google.com" . For the second CNAME, enter "uwlnuzmapnc6" as the Name and
"gv-fof3ylvtmsfhb5nrvvmryb2qtmyzinsjeoywavaq37zi3ra3zwba.domainverify.googlehosted.com." as the Destination.

This was what I did here in my Dynadot account under DNS* tab:

Domain Record(required) happinay.com Record Type: CNAME
IP Address or Target Host: ghs.google.com

Subdomain Records (optional)
Subdomain: www
Record Type: CNAME
IP Address or Target Host: ghs.google.com

For the second CNAME, still under subdomain records, I entered: uwlnuzmapnc6 as CNAME and then gv-fof3ylvtmsfhb5nrvvmryb2qtmyzinsjeoywavaq37zi3ra3zwba.domainverify.googlehosted.com. as the Target Host.

Google says I need to wait for an hour before I proceed with the next steps, otherwise, I will see a warning which means the DNS settings still hasn't been activated.

I've been waiting for more than an hour already, and attempted to proceed with the next step, yet still got the warning. I tried to do it all over again, waited for another hour or so, still I couldn't get it done.

Did I miss anything or do something wrong?

Please help. Thanks.

I'm not seeing the subdomain entry 'uwlnuzmapnc6' on your DNS page. Did you press 'Use Dynadot DNS' to save you changes after making the entry?

How do I create a CNAME?

A CNAME record is short-hand for Canonical Name record, which allows you to assign a domain or subdomain to another address or hostname. CNAME records should only be used if you can't use an A record.

NOTE: If you already have an A record within the Domain records section, please SKIP step 5!

To create a CNAME, please follow these steps:

Sign in to your Dynadot account.
Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and click "Manage Domains" in the drop-down.
Check the box next to the domain name(s) and select "DNS Settings" from the "Action" drop-down menu.
On the new page, select the "Dynadot DNS" option from the drop-down menu.
In the "Domain Record (optional)" section at the top, select "Forward" as the record type, choose forward type, and enter "https://www.yourdomainname.ext" as the "Target Host". (NOTE: This is optional and please replace the value based on your own domain name.)
Under the "Subdomain Record (optional)" field, enter "www" as the subdomain, select "CNAME" as the record type and enter the CNAME record given to you.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Save Settings" button to save your changes.

Please be aware that it might take some time for your changes to propagate.

A CNAME may be necessary for your domain to work with the following: Blogger, Blogspot, TypePad, iweb, MobileMe, zenfolio, ning.

Your settings should look similar to what is shown below:

To set up your domain with Blogger or Blogspot, please follow these steps:

Sign in to your Dynadot account.
Select "My Domains" from the left-side menu bar and click "Manage Domains" in the drop-down.
Check the box next to your domain name(s) and click on the "Action" button.
Choose "DNS Settings" from the "Action" list.
On the DNS page, select "Dynadot DNS" from the top drop-down menu.
In the "Domain Record (optional)" field, select "A" from the drop-down menu and enter Google's IP 216.239.32.21 in the "IP Address or Target Host" box.
Repeat the same steps and create 3 additional A records pointing to IP addresses 216.239.34.21, 216.239.36.21, and 216.239.38.21.
In the "Subdomain Records (optional) field", enter "www" as the subdomain record, select "CNAME" from the drop-down menu, and enter ghs.google.com under the "IP Address or Target Host" box. Please note Blogger may ask you to enter another CNAME record. You can verify their current settings here.
Press the "Save Settings" button to save your changes.

Please be aware that it might take some time for your name server changes to propagate.

Next, you will need to configure your settings with Blogger:

Sign in to your Blogger account.
Navigate to Dashboard, Settings, Publishing, Add a custom domain, and Switch to advanced settings.
In the "Advanced Settings" box, type in www.yourdomain.ext (For example: www.dynadot.com).
Press the Save button to save your changes.
