How to change the domain which is in the webhosting account

I have a hosting account, which has a domain I no longer want to use in the short term.

However, I have another domain name I want to use right now.

I seek the ability to update the webhosting to have the new domain name in place of the current domain name.

Is this possible?

If so, how would I do it?
